U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that effective September 10th they have automatically extended the validity of Permanent Resident Cards often called a “Green Card”, from 24 months to 36 months! Lawful permanent residents (LPR) who filed Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card will receive the extension.

Effective on Monday, September 26th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will automatically extend Permanent Resident Cards (Green Cards) to 24 months! This extension is for lawful permanent residents who file Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card correctly.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the U.S. Department of State (DOS) will require COVID-19 vaccinations for applicants applying for Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) or Refugee Status starting Friday, October 1,2021. COVID-19 vaccinations will be required for applicants applying for LPR or Refugee Status! All LPR and Refugee Status applicants who receive their medical examination from a Civil Surgeon or Panel Physician on or after October 1, 2021, must complete the COVID-19 vaccine series and provide documentation of vaccination being completed.
