The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a national webinar on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, between 2:00 to 3:30 pm (Eastern). This webinar will provide an overview of the H-2A temporary agricultural workers program. Representatives from USCIS, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Department of State will provide the overview with a question-and-answer session at the end. 

*The H-2A program allows U.S. employers or U.S. agents who meet specific regulatory requirements to bring foreign nationals to the United States to fill temporary agricultural jobs.

This webinar will provide an overview of USCIS Parole Stakeholder Engagement with an update specific to Afghan nationals located outside of the U.S. who have submitted requests for parole. At the end of the webinar there will be a question-and-answer session on the subject. Parole can be used to allow an individual, who may be not accepted or otherwise ineligible for admission into the United States, to be paroled into the United States for a temporary period.
