The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a Teleconference on Thursday, May 3, 2018 between 1:00 to 1:30 pm (Eastern). This event is entitled “National Stakeholder Engagement: Signature Confirmation Restricted Delivery Service” and will include a discussion of the use of the U.S. Postal Service’s (USPS) Signature Confirmation Restricted Delivery service.

USCIS just announced the phasing in of the use Signature Confirmation Restricted Delivery for specific documents starting April 30, 2018. Please review the USCIS news release, “USCIS to Begin Using More Secure Mail Delivery Service” for more details.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a teleconference on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 between 1:00 to 2:00 pm (EST). The subject of the event will be a discussion of Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card. Representatives from USCIS will be giving an overview of the Form I-90, along with helpful filing tips, and answering non-case specific questions.

Note: USCIS representatives will also provide an overview of myUSCIS and its newest features including an overview of online filing for Form I-90.

Representatives from USCIS will be discussing myUSCIS and will hold a question and answer session at the end of the discussion.

*MyUSCIS is an online service that helps users and account holders navigate the immigration process. Users and account holders can use myUSCIS to find up-to-date status information about pending immigration benefit requests, tools to help prepare for naturalization, and resources to find citizenship preparation classes and doctors. Through myUSCIS, users can also establish an online account and file to renew or replace their Green Card and apply for naturalization.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a teleconference on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 between 3:00 to 4:00 pm (Eastern). The subject of the event will be the expanded use of in-person interviews for certain applications and petitions at USCIS field offices. Representatives from USCIS will be discussing the expanded use of in-person interviews and will hold a question and answer session at the end of the discussion.

Effective October 1st, USCIS began to phase-in interviews for adjustment of status applications based on employment (Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), and refugee/asylee relative petitions (Form I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition) for beneficiaries who are in the U.S. and are petitioning to join a principal applicant who was admitted to the United States as a refugee or granted asylee status in the United States.
