The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a webinar for legal representatives entitled, “USCIS Organizational Accounts Overview for Legal Representatives“, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, between 2:00 to 3:30 pm Eastern. The webinar will be about new online organizational accounts used for the fiscal year 2025 H-1B cap and non-cap cases. USCIS stated in their Outreach, “The new organizational accounts will allow petitioning employers and their legal representatives to share access and collaborate on H-1B registrations, Forms I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker for H-1B nonimmigrants, and associated Forms I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service.”

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) states that Temporary Worker Visas are for persons who want to enter the United States for employment lasting a fixed time, only temporary and not considered permanent, with no path to immigration. Each of these visas requires the prospective U.S. employer not the worker to first file a petition with the USCIS. The Department of State has released its latest Visa Bulletin.

The monthly Visa Bulletin has changed. The bulletin now summarizes the availability of immigrant numbers during the reported month for: “Application Final Action Dates” (consistent with prior Visa Bulletins) and “Dates for Filing Applications,” indicating when immigrant visa applicants should be notified to assemble and submit required documentation to the National Visa Center using Consular Processing (outside of the US) or file on their own with USCIS Form I-485 (within the US).
