The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a national webinar, “National Engagement on Operation Allies Welcome and Ongoing Support of Afghan Nationals” on Thursday, September 1, 2022, between 3:00 to 4:00 pm (Eastern). Participances are invited to a national engagement on Operation Allies Welcome (OAW). USCIS Director Ur M. Jaddou will provide opening remarks, the program will include information about lawful immigration pathways available to Afghan nationals in this country.

The Department of State has released its latest Visa Bulletin.

Click the link to view the September 2022 Visa Bulletin

The monthly Visa Bulletin has changed. The bulletin now summarizes the availability of immigrant numbers during the reported month for: “Application Final Action Dates” (consistent with prior Visa Bulletins) and “Dates for Filing Applications,” indicating when immigrant visa applicants should be notified to assemble and submit required documentation to the National Visa Center using Consular Processing (outside of the US) or file on their own with USCIS Form I-485 (within the US).

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a national webinar, “USCIS Military Resources Stakeholder Engagement” on Thursday, August 25, 2022, between 2:00 to 3:00 pm (Eastern). USCIS stakeholders are invited to participate in a virtual stakeholder engagement, USCIS will share an overview on the resources available to active-duty military and their families and will include updates on interagency working group initiatives among the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Veterans Affairs Administration. During the second half they will hold a listening session to hear stakeholder comments and feedback.
