Statement from USCIS Acting Director Tracy Renaud in Honor of Immigrant Heritage Month
Last Wednesday, June 16, 2021, Acting Director for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Tracy Renaud released a statement on the celebration of June as Immigrant Heritage Month! This Heritage Month honors contributions made by immigrants in communities across the United States.
This is that last paragraph of her official statement below:
“Diversity is part of what makes America strong and what makes USCIS so important. The work we do each day has a direct impact on individuals and families who hope to call America home. Celebrating Immigrant Heritage Month is a celebration of America since we are, after all, a nation of immigrants.”

Visa Bulletin – July 2021
The Department of State has released its latest Visa Bulletin.

The monthly Visa Bulletin has changed. The bulletin now summarizes the availability of immigrant numbers during the reported month for: “Application Final Action Dates” (consistent with prior Visa Bulletins) and “Dates for Filing Applications,” indicating when immigrant visa applicants should be notified to assemble and submit required documentation to the National Visa Center using Consular Processing (outside of the US) or file on their own with USCIS Form I-485 (within the US).
USCIS Vermont Service Center has Changed their Address!
On Monday, June 14th, the USCIS Vermont Service Center changed their receiving addresses because of a location change. The address changes are listed on New Alert below, this will affect Premium Processing Mail, H-1B Cap Mail and all other mail addresses to this service center location!

USCIS Webinar – (6/24/21) – Temporary Protected Status for Burma (Myanmar)
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be holding a national webinar on Thursday, June 24, 2021, between 2:00 to 3:00 pm (Eastern). This webinar will provide an overview of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Burma (Myanmar), including an explanation of eligibility requirements and filing tips. USCIS will respond to questions submitted in advance or via chat function during the webinar. They will not answer case-specific questions.

On Monday, June 7th, U.S. Vice President Harris held a bilateral meeting in Guatemala with their President Giammattei! They where discussing the conditions that are influencing the large out migration from their country and the region to the United States.
Vice President Harris announces the following to combat the problem:
Cap Reached for Additional Returning Worker H-2B Visas for FY 2021
USCIS has announced that they have reached the 16,000 additional petitions needed for the H-2B supplemental cap for fiscal year (FY) 2021! They will continue to accept petitions for H-2B nonimmigrant workers for the additional 6,000 petitions for Northern Triangle countries of Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. This temporary final rule supplements the H-2B Visa Cap by adding 22,000 to the amount accepted for this FY. This will affect H-2B temporary nonagricultural guest worker visas for FY 2021!
